Kromski Symphony Spinning Wheel

This Kromski spinning wheel is fast and beautiful! This is the "fairy tale" wheel! The large drive wheel diameter gives this spinning wheel lots of momentum and makes it fast. Double treadles make it easy to use, even for a beginner, and comfortable even for long spinning sessions. One of my favorites!

The Kromski Symphony has the details spinners have come to expect with Kromski products - lots of finely turned wood and attention to detail. Start with a good size 24" wheel diameter, that rotates on bearing sleeves that contribute to effortless treadling. The flyer for this wheel is double drive but also has Scotch tensioning built-in. The Symphony bobbins will hold a full 4 ounces of yarn and they fit on all the other Kromski spinning wheels.

The Kromski Symphony spinning wheel is made of European alder and birch. Ratios: 7.5, 10, 16 and 20 to 1. The Symphony spinning wheel has no plastic parts and features brass bearings on wheel shaft and leather bearings on flyer, so it is also perfect for re-enactors or spinners that want a wheel with traditional saxony spinning wheel styling.
