Ashford Brooklyn Table Loom

The Ashford Brooklyn Four Shaft Loom provides new and experienced weavers with all the features they need to weave amazing fabric.

The Brooklyn table loom offers a 16" weaving width and a 10 dent stainless steel reed, allowing you to create many woven multishaft projects.

This loom features a large beam to beam depth of 73cm (28 1⁄2"), the same as all of the Ashford table looms. It also has a smooth, quiet overhead beater with auto bounce-back for even beating at the fell.

The Ashford Brooklyn table loom offers a generous rising shed and smooth action levers for light and easy pattern changes. Texsolv cords lift shafts evenly from both sides through frictionless nylon bearings.

A total of 320 Texsolv 22cm (8 1⁄2") heddles are supplied giving you 80 heddles per shaft, enough for a balanced 20epi weave. The beater will accept over width reeds (reeds wider than the loom, should you already have these) and can be locked for warping. Strong 40 teeth nylon ratchets, handles and clicker pawls allow for good tension.

The Ashford Brooklyn table loom kit includes 2 stick shuttles, 5 cross/warp sticks, 10 cardboard warp separating sticks, threading hook and a full step-by-step color assembly, warping and weaving instruction booklet.

The Ashford Brooklyn table loom is made using strong beech hardwood with plywood sides that make the Brooklyn Four Shaft Loom robust, light and easy to move.

You can leave the loom unfinished or finish with Ashford Finishing Wax Polish, oil, lacquer finished or decorate to your own preference.
