For big carding jobs! These Louet Drum Carders have an eight inch wide large diameter drum for large carding capacity that makes a huge batt of about 8 by 31 inches. The intermeshing teeth for great performance allow you to card fibers without pre-teasing.
All Louet Carders have enclosed gearboxes that assures smooth carding operation, while the extra high, flexible, teeth allow for a heavier batt than other drum carders as well as a high carding efficiency.
Since the Louet drum carder uses a gear drive, there are no belts to slip or wear, which is a major plus point.

Choose from the Louet drum carder 72 tpi for all fibers including fine fibers such as alpaca etc., or the Louet drum carder 46 tpi for coarse fibers such as Romney. Fully assembled.

These machines have twice as much capacity as other drum carders! Louet carders remove dirt from fiber as it cards and sealed gears prevent dirt and fibers from getting into the machine!
